About Me

My roots in yoga go back to Kripalu where my parents lived when it was an ashram in the early 90’s. I was born already immersed in the yoga world and loving movement.

I spent over ten years of my youth studying dance pre-professionally and studied Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Bellydance techniques. My deep history with and love of dance continues to inspire my work today.

I found yoga again in 2014 in response to a persistent hip injury. I was looking for help and answers that no one seemed able to provide. Ilana Singer Siegal at LifeWorks Studio used yoga therapy to address my pain and movement patterns in a way that was accessible and I began to rewire my relationship to my body. I apprenticed with Ilana delving into anatomy, biomechanics, and how to integrate yoga philosophy with real life. I began teaching in 2015 and have enjoyed teaching and seeing clients at LifeWorks Studio since.

I continued to be driven by the therapeutic application of yoga and went on to study with Dr. Jaime Stover Schmitt. I completed her 500hr yoga teacher training in 2017 and graduated from the yoga therapy training program in 2019 as a Certified Yoga Therapist. This training deepened my knowledge of the nervous system, neurological re-patterning, spiritual layers of the human experience, and the role of play in healing and vitality.

In 2023, I completed Dan Leven’s Somatic Therapy training and became a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist. As I have found my own support through this work, I help clients process and access support for their nervous system state and emotional experience, grounded in their body’s sensations.

I am a lifelong learner, and my personal experience with chronic pain, injuries, illness, and personal growth journey continue to inform my sensitivity to clients and my therapy practice.
